" Some days we paint with large bold strokes, like when someone finishes a book report or gets a piece of music ready for performing. Most of our days are softer in color. A little dab here a little dab there, following a rough draft, but allowing ourselves to paint outside the lines when we want too. "

Day to Day

Yesterday was a collage of activity. We started out with the best of intentions working from our weekly schedule. Math, science, required reading for additional subjects and piano practice were on tap for the day...But the sun was out so we decided to wrap up a fall project and gave our bulk head it's final coat of spray paint. WORDS TO INSPIRE YOUR TEENS~ and you!

I love reading words of encouragement, quotes and inspirational stories about people who have manifested their dreams. I think there is something to be learned from other's who DREAM BIG and work hard at the small stuff day in and day out to reach their goals and accomplish their hearts desires.  We ALL have DREAMS, big and small and our children are no different. When children are little they have hero's. Firefighters police officers, Dr's and the ever famous ( at least in our house) Luke Skywalker from Star Wars just to name a few.   As they grow  older they look for new hero's and inspirations.   Right now our teen age son is really inspired by a very accomplished skate boarder who has his own t.v. show.

When I asked him what it is that he is so impressed with he said, " it's his positive attitude mom, that guy's the man ! "
